We are the children of the
sun, pyramids and moon.
The stars are our brothers
and sisters, for we belong
to the creative force which
formed the earth, heavens,
and universe.
Strength, honor and respect
flow within our veins.
Courage, crowns our people,
even amidst oppression, we
always stand strong.
Brown, black, green, hazel,
and blue eyes, are the eyes
of our people, Like cats of
the jungle, we see all, and
nothing can escape.
From a cauldron boiling
with passion, and the
mixing of the races, was
born La Raza, a diverse
mixture of humanity upon
the world, many flavors,
one brand.
Born of the rain which
washed our sins, and of
the eternal fire which
burns within, we have
now melted into one, and
become like the purest
of gold.
Hopes and dreams fill our
hearts as we writhe like
flames, consumed by the
eternal fire which burns
within, our collective
soul!
